Wei Wang is the CEO and Co-Founder of Robostreet. a next-generation truck company based in Massachusetts. By combining artificial intelligence, clean energy, and robotics, Robostreet is shaping the future of transportation with innovative solutions focused on sustainability and efficiency. Since August 2021, he has been instrumental in positioning Robostreet as a key player in the United States Markets. With a talented team and technology, Robostreet has partnered with several truck manufacturers to co-develop a series of electric truck chassis, designed to upgrade work trucks and utility vehicles.
In addition to his role at Robostreet, Wei serves as a board member and local chair for the IEEE International Conference on Universal Village, associated with the MIT UV Program, a position he has held since 2019. His involvement reflects his commitment to advancing technology for sustainable and universal living environments.
Previously, Wei was the Vice President of Vwang Investment Trust in New York from 2014 to 2019, where he played a significant role in investment strategies and portfolio management.
Wei’s career began at Sino-pack International Ltd., where from 1997 to 2013 he served as General Manager and Chairman of a subsidiary company, eventually rising to the position of President. His leadership and vision were key drivers in the company’s growth and expansion in his industry.
He also contributed to international standardization efforts as a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) from 2010 to 2014, specifically within the Environmental labels groups. and contributing to several national standards.
An inventor and thought leader, Wei holds several patents, including an inventive patent and multiple utility and design patents. His publications include co-authored works such as “The Autonomous Driving Revolution-1: Debunking the Necessity of 5G Connectivity,” published on the Universal Village website, and its sequel to be published on IEEE Xplore.
Academically, Wei holds an MBA from Euromed Marseille Ecole de Management in France, completed in 2007. He furthered his education with programs at the China Europe International Business School (2010-2012) and the National School of Development at Peking University. He earned his undergraduate degree from the Antai College of Economics & Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
