Instructions for Paper Submissions

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAPER SUBMISSIONS
[TS1 – TS11], [SF(OPTIONAL)]

• Authors must submit SHORT PAPERS (3-4 pages) or REGULAR PAPERS (5-8 pages) electronically as single PDF files in US Letter size (not A4) for all TECHNICAL SESSIONS.
• Authors must use the IEEE conference template, two-column template, as shown in the links below:

Authors of accepted papers (or at least one of the authors) are expected to register and to present their work at IEEE UV2022. Papers that have been accepted and presented will be published in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The best papers will receive the IEEE UV2022 Best Paper Awards.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR PAPER SESSIONS:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR UV COMPETITION SUBMISSIONS [PC, K12C, DSC]

All applicants can submit abstracts and competition materials for any of the competitions in the UV COMPETITIONs session (UV Pitch Competition, UV K-12 Challenge, and UV Data Science Competition). Please submit a one-page abstract (100-300 words), five-to-twenty-page PowerPoint/PDF slide decks and corresponding competition materials (e.g. codes and demonstration images or videos).

Authors of accepted abstracts (or at least one of the authors) are expected to register and to present their ideas at IEEE UV2022. The competition winners will receive the corresponding competition awards, i.e., IEEE UV2022 Best Pitch Award, IEEE UV2022 K-12 Award, and IEEE UV2022 Best Data Science Innovation Award.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR COMPETITIONS:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR UV PANEL, FORUM AND WORKSHOP SUBMISSIONS
[PD1, PD2, CF, SF, AF, WS-UV]

All applicants can submit abstracts and presentation slide decks for the UV PANEL discussion, the UV FORUM sessions and the UV WORKSHOP session. Please submit a one-page abstract (100-300 words) and five-to-twenty-page PowerPoint/PDF slide decks.

Authors of accepted abstracts (or at least one of the authors) are expected to register and to present at IEEE UV2022. The best presentations will receive the IEEE UV2022 Best Presentation Awards.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE FORUM AND WORKSHOP SESSIONS:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR UV POSTER & EXHIBITION SUBMISSIONS
[PE1, PE2]

All applicants can submit posters for the UV POSTER session and the UV EXHIBITION session. Please submit your poster in PDF format with a one-page abstract (100-300 words) and a one-page PowerPoint/PDF poster. The preferred poster size is 18 inch x 24 inch (46 cm x 61 cm). Please ensure that the size of your poster does not exceed the poster board dimensions: 18 inch x 24 inch.

Authors of accepted posters (or at least one of the authors) are expected to register and to prepare a one-to-two-minute oral presentation at IEEE UV2022. All posters MUST be displayed throughout the conference. The best posters will receive the IEEE UV2022 Best Poster Awards.
